This was the best experience at a hairdresser I have ever had!! Ellis was so nice and chill, she answered all my questions and she did the most incredible job on my hair!! I’ve had experiences with hairdressers where they try to straighten my hair, don’t use any hydrating products or take an insane amount of volume out of my wavy hair which makes it look like another persons hair!!! She not only created a really calm and welcoming environment but she left my hair feeling so nice, soft and shiny with beautiful waves!! I’m going to be coming back until she stops cutting hair :) it was also really nice if you have issues with being in salons with other people (like I do) as there was only one other client in there getting their colour done with her stylist. Literally I didn’t even want to leave, I had such a nice relaxing time :) plus the other stylist in there (who was also so nice) made me an oat flat white with a bean to cup coffee machine, which was delicious!! can’t recommend Ellis highly enough!

Ellis did an incredible job with my hair, her approach to hairdressing is refreshingly measured and patient - We stopped a few times to talk about where the cut was going, how to maintain it and more importantly, how to do so on a budget. I sort of dislike when hairdressers push loads of products on you and give you unrealistic maintenance routines. Dont get me wrong, the options for further care and products are there. But Ellis seemed to sense it was not my style having a quite a busy life. We talked about how I would style it for different occasions, which cuts would suit my face shape and how it may have differed to previous styles. I left feeling super confident and happy with the result. I was complimented for the rest of the week on the cut and style . The salon was warm, spotless and wonderfully kept with some of the best coffee I’ve had in Birmingham. My advice is - Get in her chair and get to know her before she gets snapped up by some huge salon. I’ll be back soon!

Definitely more than “just” a hairdresser. Ellis’ professionalism was clear from the first message to the final result. She was welcoming and respectful throughout the appointment. I especially appreciated that we skipped the small talk. She stayed focused on the process and my hair, allowing me to truly enjoy my salon time after a long day. I was slightly nervous about the outcome, but we took the time to go through the pros and cons of the reference photos I brought. When I saw the final result, I was pleasantly surprised. She understood my idea on point. Absolutely in love with the look. It's been a week now and I have not doubted the haircut not for a second.

I had a great first appointment with Ellis. I messaged her before booking my appointment explaining what I wanted and she helped me book the right appointment for me. It was easy to find her on the day. I felt like she understood what I wanted and she asked my opinion throughout the appointment to make sure I was happy. She made me feel comfortable going somewhere new and I trusted her completely. I got exactly what I hoped for and would highly recommend Ellis to others.

Highly recommend! Ellis is so calming, friendly and so talented. She checks in and makes sure you leave with what you want. The room is very calm and this helped with my autistic son, he felt so happy leaving after finding the right hairdresser for him. We rebooked straight away!
